Below is a list of Roger Waters solo albums that he released after he left Pink Floyd (with the exception of the collaborative effort Music From The Body with Ron Geesin.
1970 – Roger Waters with Ron Geesin – Music from The Body
Not my favourite Roger Waters album. Slightly too odd!
1984 – Roger Waters – The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking
Pink Floyd were either going to release this album or The Wall… and choose The Wall. This is an excellent album and my second favourite Roger Waters solo effort.
1987 – Roger Waters – Radio K.A.O.S.
A themed album about a kid controlling the radio waves! An interesting 1980s piece but a little “dated” but not as much as Post Roger Waters Pink Floyd output! Only joking!
1990 – Roger Waters – The Wall – Live in Berlin
Not as good as the original Wall album but interesting in its own right. Certainly a reminder of an historical event.
1992 – Roger Waters – Amused to Death
Undoubtedly my FAVOURITE Roger Waters solo album. It is an excellent effort and listens through from end to end.
2000 – Roger Waters – In the Flesh (Live)
An excellent live recording with a corresponding DVD from an excellent tour. Happy memories.
2002 – Roger Waters – Flickering Flame: The Solo Years Volume 1
Compilation of Roger’s work to date.
2005 – Roger Waters – Ça Ira
Got some decent reviews but was not properly accepted by the classical music community. Interesting to listen to if you are not used to this style of classical music.
2010 – Roger Waters New Album?
There could well be a new Roger Waters album on the way this year along with The Dark Side of the Moon Tour DVD!
