Pink Floyd Wall Immersion Boxset
Old Pink almost caught a fleeting glimpse of something quite terrible in the song Comfortably Numb from The Wall album. But Pink Floyd fans can now definitely catch a fleeting glimpse of something much better from the Immersion Boxset of The Wall album!
Two of the seven discs are dedicated to The Wall being under construction and listeners can witness the album evolving from Roger Waters’ original demos (Nick Mason once described them as “the most appalling demos”), through to the band studio production demos and finally to the final studio recordings of the album.

The database is currently incomplete in terms of me adding all of the historical concerts to it so I aim to finish that over the next couple of months. I have been working on the data for it recently to populate the Pink Floyd database with! Once I have added all the concerts, I will then group them by the relevant tour and allow you to search by decade to drill down to a list of concerts you may be interested in. Its all about making it more useful for you.
Additionally, I want to add a commenting system so that people can leave a comment about various concerts, share information like links and photos and URLs to other items on the internet that may be relevant to the concerts. This will let you add lots of interesting content to the database.
Also, I plan on extending the database to include things other than actual concerts. Perhaps history notes, TV Appearances, births, deaths and marriages and other such data about things. This will help document the history of the band for those interested in researching such things.
This is a section that was pretty much lifted from Wikipedia. I do aim to rewrite this section with a sifferent take on the albums perhaps with some live performance clips and links to other resources which may be of interest. I will thus make the pink floyd albums section much more comprehensive.
I have started on a Pink Floyd members section to the site which is a work in progress for now but which, hopefully, will contain some basic information about each member, a short biography and then links to other content from NPF and the internet concerning what that member has been up to. Saying that though, most of the history of Pink Floyd has not really concerned individual members but, rather, concerned the band as a whole. This info will be for the casual fan to pick up on who is who.
