Backstage on Roger Waters Tour 2012
Roger Waters is over in Australia rehearsing with his band ready for next Friday when he will play two nights at Burswood Dome in Perth, Australia. The Wall is all set up in the dome now ready for rehearsing which, I presume, has been happening today.

After Oceana 2012, Roger and the band will be travelling over to Chile, South America to continue his 2012 tour of The Wall much to the excitement of those in posession of tickets (or have them on the way, or are waiting for pre-sales and general sales!).

I went to watch the show in Manchester in 2011 with my brother and I managed to film a few songs on my Nokia N8 phone. Not normally a bad camera it did a fairly decent job in capturing some video from the performance of The Wall. I still have not heard anything about The Wall Tour DVD after several shows have been recorded including London and Greece shows. I suspect the Greek ones will get on the DVD due to the particularly tight controls over cameras and mobile phones being taken into the venue at the time.
Don’t know when it will be released for us all to enjoy but I suspect it will be in time for Christmas 2012. Hopefully it will also feature The Wall album in 5.1 or an SACD version or something considering that nothing of this variety has been added into The Wall Immersion Boxset which is disappointing. Many people have been chatting about this form of audio being adsent from the expensive box set and they have been asking what is the point of getting the boxset?
