Roger Waters Radio Interview

Roger Waters will be on the new official Pink Floyd radio station which is broadcast in the USA on the SiriusXM Satellite broadcast service. He shall be involved in a live Questions and Answers session on Wednesday 27th June 2012 which is live from 12pm ET.

The show is called “SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Roger Waters” and is on Sirius channel 142 and XM channel 43, and Deep Tracks, channel 27.

I think it is a terrible shame that there are no plans to air this radio station in the UK and Europe! How rude! I am not sure what sort of things they are broadcasting on the new Pink Floyd official radio station but I believe there have been some live shows thus far from the archives. A BBC recording was one of them I believe. I have a good mind to start a petition to show EMI that we want the station in the UK as well!

During the interview, Roger will be answering questions about his career and politics and will be speaking to fans directly. Get involved!

Pink Floyd Sirius XM Radio

During the interview between Roger Waters and Jim Ladd today it was announced that The Pink Floyd Channel takes over Deep Tracks all Memorial weekend starting 25th May 2012 at 12p Est. Deep Tracks is a radio station on the American satellite radio network Sirius XM Radio.

Then from June 2012 onwards, Pink Floyd will have their very own radio station in the USA. Great!

I don’t know anything more about any of this so will have to reserve any other comments until I find out more. It could be exciting if there is some new content on the new radio station. I wonder who will be the DJ for it? A famous person or someone from Hospital Radio?
